Do you suffer from panic and anxiety attacks? If you do than you probably know how frightening, and inconvenient they are. Attacks don't wait for you to be ready for them, they are triggered by anything that frightens you, or even makes you nervous.
Anxiety and panic attacks are an interruption to everyday life, denying you the ability to live comfortably and without fear of future attacks. Often times people avoid situations that have been known to cause anxiety attacks, but it seems the more you fear anxiety and avoid those situations the more it happens. But you already know this...
If you are one of those many people who suffer from this horrible problem I am sure you have asked yourself, and probably a doctor how to stop panic and anxiety attacks. Most likely you came up empty handed. Blowing into a paper bag only slightly helps, and medications can reduce attacks or sometimes end an attack, but how do you stop them? Well the trick is to quit living in fear of the next panic attack. Quit thinking about it.
Thinking about anxiety is a major cause of more anxiety. I am sure you have learned to know when you are going to have a panic attack, and knowing the symptoms often times makes it worse. Refusing to fear an attack will make it less likely to happen. So stop living in fear of the next panic attack and start living the life you truly want. The more you train yourself not to fear future panic and anxiety attacks the easier it will get.
